About Me.

I am a writer and former teacher with a range of experiences in the fields of literature, teaching, writing, tutoring and academic support. I draw on educational philosophies from both traditional and contemporary sources and aim at all times to be flexible in my approach and responsive to the individual needs of my students. I believe a tailored approach based upon a shared identification of preferred learning styles and methods, as well as reflection on the nature of past learning experiences, helps students to find an authentic voice and develop an empowering and lifelong relationship with learning.
Professional experiences include secondary and primary school classroom teaching, university marking and essay writing support, private tutoring, copywriting, freelance writing and self-publishing.
